Are You in the Ark of Salvation?

Genesis 6:5-8

There was a day when God looked down and saw the earth so vile.
Sin was king in village and town for mile after mile.
Conditions were terrible on this globe; God’s heart was filled with pain;
No matter where man made his abode, he was bound by sin’s dark chain.

So terribly dominated by sin, his thoughts were continually evil;
His very nature corrupted within produced a global upheaval
Instead of living in love and peace, destruction and death were loosed.
All that was good and kind had ceased so that man was without excuse.

But there was one in all the earth who found the Creator’s favor
God esteemed Noah to be of great worth because He loved the Savior.
In spite of Satan’s evil scheme to defile each generation
God always kept one righteous man to proclaim his gracious salvation.

Noah preached one hundred years while building God’s specified ark.
He was the subject of jest and jeers and other disparaging remarks.
But when the rains of judgment fell Noah’s family was safely within.
None of the others lived to tell. They died because of their sin.

So here is a question for all my friends. Do you dwell in the ark of salvation?
If today was the day that all would end, what is your destination?
God has prepared an eternal plan for those who receive His Son.
He offers grace to every man. This is how the battle is won.

Get down on your knees and pray. Call out to God above.
Don’t wait until later, do it today. He will fill your heart with love.
You will feel clean, your sins washed away; God’s peace will come within.
Your eternal condition is fixed today, for now you belong to Him.

Genesis 6:5-8
5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
